RED RIFLE sets his sites on the GIII Sycamore S. this Thursday, October 16th.

Red Rifle was named after the Bengal's quarterback Any Dalton who came out to visit him during the spring meet at Keeneland where he finished a disappointing 9th in the Ben Ali S. Since that race Red Rifle was castrated and his performance record has greatly improved with two seconds and his recent win in the Yankee Affair S. on September 9th at Belmont. He now has 4 wins from 11 starts, including the track record performance in the Maxxum Gold Cup earlier this year, with earnings of $242,520  

He has drawn post position 4 of 9 and will be ridden by John Velasquez. The GIII Sycamore S. is the 8th race on the card at Keeneland going 1-1/2 miles on the turf and the estimated post time is 4:42 PM.
