Twin Creeks Racing Stables is managed by a team of professionals, each of whom have knowledge of the thoroughbred industry and bring a unique combination of both corporate and racing experience. We strive to surround ourselves with knowledgeable and successful people to enhance the racing partnership and your experience as an owner.

  • Randy is primarily responsible for selecting the horses purchased for Twin Creeks Racing Stables, llc. as well as managing the racing career of the stable. He currently oversees every aspect of Twin Creeks Farm located in Versailles, Kentucky. He has extensive knowledge and experience in all facets of the thoroughbred industry and helped develop the farm into what it is today. Before managing Twin Creeks Farm, Randy trained thoroughbreds for eight years all over the country including Louisiana, California, Arkansas and Kentucky. He was among the leading trainers in Louisiana and Northern California and conditioned many stakes winners including LAPAZ (dam of MISSSION IMPAZIBLE), MISS JESY, MISSOURI ACE, ESKER ISLAND and World Record Setter JOEY JR.
 

STEVE DAVISON - Director

Steve Davison, owner of Twin Creeks Farm, has been involved in the Thoroughbred industry for over 20 years, principally as a race horse owner, farm owner and breeder. An attorney from Ruston, Louisiana, he is a principal owner in Genesis Energy, LP, a publicly traded energy and transportation company. He recently purchased Ragozins The Sheets,the most effective and powerful handicapping tool available. He is also a developer of Squire Creek Country Club, the top ranked golf course and residential development in Louisiana. He is primarily responsible for the organization of the Company and assisted in the evaluation and purchase of the yearlings
   

KIM GULLATT - Client Relations/Social Media/Bookkeeper

Kim is a former jockey from New Orleans who held two riding titles in her short career. Since retiring from riding, she has worked for several of the premier thoroughbred sales companies including Taylor Made Sales Agency, Eaton Sales and Denali Stud where she handled all client relations, paperwork deadlines and nominations, research on all sales horses and managed and coordinated the sales team during the sales. She has also worked with the marketing department of Keeneland Racetrack as well as with the Breeders' Cup telecast. She is responsible for the website, book-keeping and client relations for the Stable.
   

Mike Maker - Trainer

Mike started his own stable in 2003, and has been winning ever since. No doubt the experiences gained from working with both his father, and D. Wayne Lukas helped him break the record for wins last fall at historic Churchill Downs.
   

Todd Pletcher - Trainer

Todd Pletcher is a leading American thoroughbred horse trainer. He has won four consecutive Eclipse Awards as outstanding Trainer of the Year, while topping the leader board in purse earnings in 2004, 2005, and 2006. His horse Super Saver won the 2010 Kentucky Derby, the first of his 24 horses entered in his career to win the Run for the Roses. He also won the 2007 Belmont Stakes with filly Rags to Riches.
   

Steve Asmussen - Trainer

 

Steve Asmussen's colt, Curlin, finished third in the 2007 Kentucky Derby and beat out Derby winner Street Sense to win the 2007 Preakness Stakes. Curlin finished second in the 2007 Belmont Stakes to filly Rags to Riches, and went on to take the Breeders' Cup Classic on October 27, 2007, at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, New Jersey.

   

Dale Romans - Trainer

 

A licensed trainer since age 18, Dale Romans saddled his first winner on February 15, 1987, at Turfway Park. The son of renowned trainer Jerry Romans, a leading trainer at Turfway and twice leader at Ellis Park, Dale began working in his father's stable from literally the time he could walk. A two-time leading trainer at Keeneland, Romans has won two stakes there while adding four at Churchill Downs, one at Pimlico, and three at Hoosier Park. In 2001, he won stakes at six different tracks, making him one of the most versatile and successful trainers practicing today.
