RED RIFLE- Setting His Sights on the BC Turf

RED RIFLE, a Twin Creeks Farm home-bred, by Giant’s Causeway out of stakes winning mare May Night, is setting his sights on the Longines BC Turf running at Keeneland on October 31st.

The Longines Breeders’ Cup Turf is run at 1 ½ miles on the grass course, for horses 3-years-old and older. The race attracts the top grass talent from Europe and North America to compete for a $3 million purse.

This summer Red Rifle reeled off two strong wins in the G3 Dominion Day S. and G2 Bowling Green S before finishing a very strong second to FLINTSHIRE who was recently the runner up in Europe’s most prestigious race the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.

Red Rifle has been called a throw-back horse by many handicappers due to his grit and determination and his ability to win on every type of surface, He has set track records on both dirt and turf. If any of you are football fans, you may be interested in knowing that he was named after the Bengal’s quarterback, Andy Dalton. The Bengals are having a sensational start this season and we are hoping that both Red Rifles can continue their success on the field and track!
